Sweet IRB Cinnamon Slabs

Cinnamon Slabs are Sweet IRB’s version of a cinnamon roll made with a buttermilk biscuit dough, yummy filling and buttermilk cream cheese icing.

And not just for Breakfast!  Cinnamon Slabs are great for lunch and dessert!

Sweet IRB Cinnamon Slabs were recently featured on the Bay New’s 9 Chef’s Kitchen.

The Slab starts with a basic buttermilk biscuit dough with just a little more flour to make it easy to roll and to roll thin.

The Filling or Guts, as they are affectionately called, is a combination of butter cinnamon, dark brown sugar and vanilla.

Topping off the slab is a buttermilk cream cheese icing that we “infuse” by poking holes into the slabs and letting the icing seep into the just baked pan.

Cinnamon Slabs are available by the “slab” or pan.  The Pan of Slabs is great for brunch and weekend breakfast.

Buns on the Beach will be returning in March 2016 —  Buns on the Beach is our weekend delivery of right out of the oven Cinnamon Slabs to the Indian Rocks Beach area.
